Re-incarnate was born out of my love for engineering, design, and fast cars. The first table I built was a E46 BMW M3 coffee table. I bought the parts secondhand and spent endless hours in my garage designing, tweaking and modifying the design until I was happy. I had seen other alloy wheel coffee tables but I wanted to produce something different, something that reflected the time and engineering that had gone into the car that the wheel had come from. I also wanted.to be able to make each table different, I had an idea in my head of a base which could be coloured to match the car that the wheel came from, but it had to be the same finish as the car bodywork I tried a large number of design alternatives using standard parts which ultimately didn't get the result I wanted. I then decided that the best way to get what I wanted was to design the parts myself. The result is a set of parts comprising of custom cut glass, machined aluminium, rolled and welded aluminium and finally whatever finish is required. The beauty of this is that everything can be customised to the customers requirements, meaning that pretty much no two re-incarnate coffee tables are the same.
